Dr Raashid Shahbazi is a UK Board certified Senior Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon with more than 30 years of clinical experience with Fellowship in Endovascular Surgery. 

Dr Shahbazi is an expert in a range of vascular conditions including carotid artery disease, carotid body tumours, aortic occlusive and aneurysmal disease, vascular trauma, peripheral artery disease, varicose veins, spider veins, lymphedema, diabetic feet, and dialysis access procedures. His wide scope of practice means he is highly experienced within his field, leading to excellent outcomes for his patients.

Dr Shahbazi is currently also serving as Regional Medical Director of NMC Healthcare Sharjah and the Northern Emirates. He has previously served as Chief of Vascular Surgery and Chairman Department of Surgery Tawam Hospirtal Al Ain, and Head of Surgical services at Saudi German Hospital Dubai, 

Dr Shahbazi is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons. He also has a CCT from the UK and has completed his certification in Surgical Leadership from Harvard University, USA. He is an Adjunct Associate Professor of Surgery at UAE University College of Medicine.

He has presented at a number of national and international conferences and is Scientific Committee member of the Emirates Vascular Surgery Society, as well as a member of multiple prestigious societies including the European Society of Vascular Surgery, the Vascular Society of Great Britain and Ireland, Vascular Access Society of Great Britain and Ireland, Critical Limb Ischemia Global Society and the British Association of Sclerotherapy.

Dr Shahbazi speaks English, Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi.
