Professor Jamie Cavenagh is a Consultant (Honorary Senior Lecturer) in Haematology based at St Bartholomew's Hospital in Barts and The London NHS Trust. He qualified from St Mary's Hospital Medical School and went on to train in haematology at St George's Hospital, The Royal Marsden Hospital and Barts and The London. He was a Leukaemia Research Fund Scientific Training Fellow during which time he completed his MD thesis.
Professor Cavenagh's clinical and research interests are within haemato-oncology and bone marrow transplantation with particular emphasis on multiple myeloma, AML/MDS and allogeneic transplantation. He has published over 100 scientific papers and is an executive member of the UKMF and sits on the NCRI myeloma clinical trials group.
