Dr. Univ.Prof Petra Munda ist Fachärztin für Innere Medizin mit dem Zusatzfach Gastroenterologie und Hepatologie. Im Rahmen ihrer Ausbildung verbrachte Dr. Univ.Prof Munda ein Jahr als Research Fellow an der Northwestern University in Chicago.
Dr. Univ.Prof Munda ist Autorin von etwa 100 wissenschaftlichen Publikationen und wurde für ihre Arbeit unter anderem mit dem Wewalka Preis und dem Johann Kwizda Forschungsstipendium ausgezeichnet. An der Medizinischen Universität Wien habilitierte sie sich und ist seitdem als außerordentliche Universitätsprofessorin tätig.
Dr. Univ.Prof Munda hegt seit ihrer Kindheit eine große Leidenschaft für die Musik, insbesondere für die Kammermusik. Diese Passion wurde durch ihren Vater, einen begeisterten Musikliebhaber, Cellisten und Kammermusiker, sowie durch frühen Instrumentalunterricht geweckt.
