He returned to New South Wales in 2001 as a consultant urologist, establishing practices across Bondi Junction, Liverpool, Bankstown, and Nowra and holding public appointments at Liverpool and Bankstown Hospitals.
He is currently Head of the department of Urology at Liverpool Hospital and Sydney Southwest Private Hospital where he is on the Medical Advisory Committee. He also consults and operates at Sydney South West Private Hospital, Prince of Wales Private Hospital, and Nowra Private Hospital.
Dr. Gassner’s clinical expertise spans the full spectrum of urological care, with a particular focus on uro-oncology, including prostate, bladder, kidney, and testicular cancers.
