Mr Consigliere graduated in Medicine from the University of Pavia, Italy, in 2009 and completed his trauma and orthopaedic training in Milan. He moved to the UK in 2013, where he undertook two highly regarded upper limb fellowships: one at the Rowley Bristow Unit, Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, and another at the Reading Shoulder Unit, Royal Berkshire Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, an internationally recognised centre of excellence. He further expanded his expertise by completing a limb reconstruction fellowship at St George’s University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, one of London’s four major trauma centres.
He was appointed as a Consultant in 2019 and currently works at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust, Kent, UK.
For the past ten years, Mr Consigliere has collaborated with colleagues at the Mayo Clinic, Minnesota, USA, contributing to significant professional development and advancing his specialist expertise in elbow surgery.
Mr Consigliere is a Lecturer at Kent and Medway Medical School, Director of Clinical Research at the Reading Shoulder Unit, and Research Lead at the William Harvey Hospital, East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust.
