Before joining Mediclinic Dubai Mall, she worked in King's College Hospital London in Dubai,  and at King Abdulaziz Hospital in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, as a Consultant Pulmonologist for 5 years.

In addition to her medical career, Dr Vartzioti has a personal interest in athletics, being a marathoner and trail runner herself. Her passion for sports and understanding of the challenges faced by athletes have fuelled her main interest in assessing and managing respiratory problems in athletic individuals.
