After more than 30 years as a surfing athlete and 20 years as a surf coach, Nuno developed an interest in the health of athletes and their recovery. This led him to pursue his Bachelors in Osteopathy from Instituto de Medicina Tradicional, Portugal, in 2010 and Advanced Course in Osteopathy from Lusofona University, Portugal in 2013.
In 2015, he also completed two courses in Paediatric Osteopathy from L’associazione Italiana per la Divulgazione della Cultura Osteopatica (in partnership with Master Physical Therapy) and Deport Medicine Center (Spain). He has also received BLS (Basic Life Support) training from the American Heart Association.
Nuno is experienced in structural osteopathy (Manipulative and/or soft tissue techniques), visceral osteopathy (improve the functioning of your organs), and cranio-sacral osteopathy (Light touch to release membranes and improve fluids).
He treats newborn babies, toddlers and adults, presenting with a variety of acute and chronic complaints.
Outside the clinic, you can see Nuno doing a lot of outdoor sports activities, Jiu-jitsu and playing with his two young sons.
