Nach Abschluss der Wundheilung wachsen aus den verpflanzten Haarwurzeln bereits nach wenigen Monaten neue, gesunde Haare, die erhalten bleiben. Die neuen Haare können ganz normal geschnitten, gewaschen, geföhnt, dauergewellt und gefärbt werden.

Für die Entnahme der Haareinheiten gibt es verschiedene Methoden:

·      Strip Technique, FUT (Follicular Unit Transplanatation), Streifenmethode

·      FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction)

·      BHT (Body Hair Transplantation)

Die Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT) Methode/Strip-Technique/Streifenmethode

Bei der FUT-Methode wird am Hinterkopf ein Streifen entnommen. Während der Entnahme und dem anschließenden Verschluss haben die Patienten keine Schmerzen. Die moderne Haarchirurgie erlaubt in den meisten Fällen den Verschluss der Wunde, der in einer nahezu narbenfreien Abheilung resultiert. Die angewandte Technik nennt sich 'Trichophytic Closure'.

Follicular Unit Extraction – FUE

Bei der FUE Technik werden die follikulären Einheiten einzeln entnommen. Durch diese mikrochirurgische Methode entsteht keine durchgehende Narbe am Hinterkopf. FUE stellt eine relativ neue Methode dar. Immer mehr Menschen entscheiden sich für dieses Verfahren der Eigenhaartransplantation.

Body Hair Transplantation – BHT

Bei dieser Methode werden die Haare von behaarten Körperarealen entnommen. Die beste Entnahmestelle ergibt sich aus der individuellen Anlage der Patienten. Es können Haare aller Regionen verwendet werden. Um ein ästhetisches Ergebnis zu erzielen, muss allerdings die Beschaffenheit der Haare berücksichtigt werden. Es können mit der BHT sehr natürliche Ergebnisse erzielt werden.
