About Nina Bjurstrom
Dr Nina Bjurstrom is a General Practitioner with a special interest in dermatology and women’s health. She has over a decade of clinical experience gained in both Australia and the United Kingdom. Dr Bjurstrom is part of the medical team at Westminster Women’s Clinic, while also continuing her NHS work as a GP at surgeries in south west London and at a local university campus. She developed a specialist interest in dermatology while working in Brisbane and in the Australian outback. She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Practical Dermatology with distinction and has additional qualifications in dermoscopy for the assessment of skin lesions and rashes. She treats a broad range of skin conditions, including rosacea, acne, pigmentation disorders, eczema and benign and suspicious moles. Her work is supported by close links with local secondary care dermatology services. Dr Bjurstrom trained in medicine at the University of Queensland, where she was awarded her medical degree with a Dean’s Commendation for High Achievement. Her clinical approach is focused on holistic, person-centred care, with particular attention to long-term skin health and nutrition.
