About
Mr Nicholas Tobias Johannes Raison is a Consultant Urological Surgeon at King's College Hospital and a tenured Associate Professor at King's College London. He is recognised for his expertise in benign bladder dysfunction, including benign prostate enlargement, overactive bladder syndrome and urinary incontinence. Alongside this he offers a wide range of minimally invasive surgical treatments for general urology and the management of prostate and bladder cancer.
Mr Raison graduated from Imperial College School of Medicine in 2009 and completed specialist urology training within the London deanery, followed by a dedicated fellowship at Guy's Hospital. He later earned a PhD from King’s College London, receiving nomination for an outstanding thesis prize, and holds advanced postgraduate qualifications in medical education, including Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy.
A leader in data-driven surgical innovation, he advances the integration of artificial intelligence, machine learning and simulation to enhance intraoperative guidance and clinical decision-making.
