Dr Ngozi Oluonye is a Consultant Developmental Paediatrician with over 18 years of specialist experience in paediatrics. She is based in London and currently practises at Moorfields Eye Hospital and at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in the Developmental Vision clinics, Neurodisability Service and the Neurodevelopmental Assessment Service.
She sees children with various complex neurodevelopmental conditions. At Moorfields Eye Hospital, she runs a Low Vision Assessment Clinic for preschool children and supports the Medical Retina and Paediatric Cataract clinics.
Dr Oluonye is also the Medical Advisor to the Norrie Disease Foundation, a UK charity promoting research into Norrie Disease. She is also an Executive Member of the Association for Research in Childhood Development.
She completed her medical degree in 1986 at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. Shortly after she became a Member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health and the Royal College of Physicians. In 2003 she completed her Master's degree in Community Paediatrics at University College London.
