Her earlier academic qualifications include a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Istanbul University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Istanbul Bilgi University. Her clinical practice focuses on the treatment of anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), eating disorders, personality disorders, and adjustment-related challenges such as stress, burnout, and grief. Her academic career spans multiple institutions, including Canadian University Dubai, where she was Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology, and Isik University in Istanbul, where she co-founded the Graduate School of Clinical Psychology and served as both Assistant and Associate Professor. She has also worked at the German Neuroscience Center in Dubai and Heidelberg University’s Department of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy.
