About
Natasha Carr-Rouse is an integrative therapist who has been providing remote therapy sessions since 2017. She is an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). Natasha's therapeutic approach is rooted in collaboration, working closely with clients to tailor sessions to their specific preferences and needs.
As an integrative therapist, Natasha employs the 'core self' model, which is a humanistic and person-centred approach. She integrates various therapeutic techniques, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and aspects of Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT). This combination helps clients process their life experiences, develop new skills, and enhance psychological flexibility. Natasha aligns with Stephen Hayes, the founder of ACT therapy, who emphasises the importance of moving life in meaningful directions and building habits that reflect one’s values and aspirations.
Before joining Priory, Natasha gained experience at Network Counselling in Bristol. She became an accredited BACP member in 2021 after completing her diploma in integrative counselling from Network Counselling and Training, Bristol, in 2017. Natasha's commitment to professional development is evident in her additional qualifications, including a certificate in counselling obtained in 2014 and a certificate in ‘third wave CBT’ from SDS training.
In 2023, Natasha furthered her expertise in ACT by completing an immersion course with Stephen Hayes via 'Praxis.' She also transitioned to remote working in 2020 by earning a certificate in online and telephone counselling from Counselling Tutor. Currently, Natasha is training to become an applied Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) practitioner, aiming to expand her toolkit of skills and enhance the support she provides to her clients.
