Mr Murugu Kalai Selvan Masilamani, often known as Mr Selvan, is a Consultant Urological Surgeon. Mr Selvan is an expert in managing general urological conditions. He has also developed a subspecialty interest in prostate and bladder-related conditions. Mr Selvan's practice covers all aspects of general and diagnostic urology. This includes investigations for urinary symptoms, including bladder pressure tests, also known as urodynamics. He also carries out surgical treatment for benign prostatic enlargement and bladder stone laser surgeries. His work regularly involves flexible cystoscopies, adult circumcisions, and scrotal and testicular surgeries for benign and malignant conditions. Mr Selvan obtained his primary medical qualification in 1993 from the University of Madras in India. He then went on to obtain his postgraduate general surgical qualification (M.S. general surgery) at Stanley Medical College. In 2000, he completed the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, followed by a Fellowship in Urology. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (Urology).
