Dr Wong graduated in Dentistry from London Hospital Medical College in 1994. Following this, she gained experience in all fields of dentistry including working as part of the Pennstar trauma team at the University of Pennsylvania. She was then made a house officer in prosthetic dentistry at the Royal London Hospital, followed by senior house officer position at the Bristol Dental Hospital. During this time she completed her Fellowship in dental surgery.
She then returned to London to take up a position as a senior house officer in oral surgery, before completing her Master's degree at Guy's hospital. Following this, she was accepted onto a consultant training programme at King's College and St George's Hospital, acquiring her Fellowship in orthodontics. Less than 300 practitioners in the UK have this level of training. Dr Wong went on to establish her own dental practice, Moira Wong Orthodontics, one of the UK's leading orthodontic services.
