About Mr Vik Kapoor
Mr Vikas Kapoor is a Consultant Spinal Surgeon with over 25 years of expertise in spinal surgery. He practices at BMI Alexandra, Spire Regency Hospital in Macclesfield, The Beaumont BMI Hospital in Bolton, and HCA in Wilmslow, while also serving as the senior-most spinal surgeon and Clinical Lead of the Spinal Unit at Stepping Hill Hospital in the NHS. Mr Kapoor specialises in all aspects of spinal surgery, including minimally invasive procedures and treatments for conditions like lower back pain, sciatica, spinal deformities, and nerve root compression. His surgical repertoire includes advanced keyhole techniques such as microdiscectomies, vertebroplasty, kyphoplasty, and sacroiliac joint fusion, enabling faster recovery for his patients. After qualifying in 1991 from Banaras Hindu University in India, he pursued postgraduate training in the UK. His orthopaedic training in Wessex and a national spinal fellowship with the Yorkshire Deanery further refined his skills.
