Mr Taggart went to the University of Liverpool where he graduated from in 1991. He completed basic and higher surgical training rotations in Liverpool and Sheffield, but has been working as a consultant at Bradford since 2003. He is a hip and knee arthroplasty surgeon with a specialist interest in minimally invasive surgery partial / half knee replacement, uncemented technology and periprosthetic fractures. He also maintains an interest in, and a commitment to, the management of orthopaedic trauma.
