He specialises in all areas of general Urology, including the management of urinary symptoms, blood in urine and prostate problems. He is a specialist in the management and prevention of Kidney stones and laser prostate surgery.
Mr Smith provides first-class urology services at two private hospitals. The Kent Institute of Medicine and Surgery (KIMS) in Maidstone and the Spire Hospital in Tunbridge Wells. His practice covers a broad range of urological conditions.
Apart from his clinical work, he is actively involved in teaching and training and regularly presents his work on kidney stone disease internationally. Furthermore, he has helped to establish minimally invasive urological procedures in Africa through which he was awarded the BMA Humanitarian Award.
