Mr Millington qualified in 1998 from the University of Nottingham and during his orthopaedic training he completed his PhD in the field of articular cartilage research, cartilage imaging and transplantation. He has held many prestigious international research grants including from the National Institute for Health (NIH) in the USA, the Austrian National Bank and Barts Charity. He has published over 30 international peer reviewed research publications and widely presented at international research meeting.
He was fortunate to previously be nominated for a BAFTA television award after performing total knee replacement live on national TV, in the UK watch by a live audience of over 1.5 million viewers.
For many years, Mr Millington worked overseas in leading university teaching hospitals in the USA - University of Virgina, Austria - Medical University of Vienna and Australia -Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and is now based in London. He works closely with leading consultants across London to provide the best level of care possible to UK and overseas patients.
