About Mr Sohail Quraishi
Mr Sohail Quraishi is an Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in hip and knee surgery. He obtained his medical degree from Nishtar Medical College, Pakistan in 1984. He later moved to the UK and completed his basic surgical training in North Wales and his higher surgical training in trauma and orthopaedics in Birmingham. He became a Trauma and Orthopaedic Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 1999. Mr Quraishi was first appointed as a Consultant in 1998 and has worked with the Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust since 2000. He also sees private patients at West Midlands Hospital and Spire Little Aston Hospital. His practice focuses on total hip and total knee replacements and he has carried out over 2000 joint replacement procedures during his career. He also specialises in minimally invasive surgery, such as knee arthroscopy as well as computer-assisted joint replacement surgery, unicompartmental knee placement surgery and hip resurfacing. Mr Quraishi holds memberships with the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the British Medical Association.
