About Mr Robert Marshall
Mr Bob Marshall qualified from St Thomas Hospital Medical School in 1988 and trained in general surgery in London. His higher upper gastrointestinal training was at Guy's Hospital. Bob Marshall has been a Consultant in Oxford for 20 years and is currently one of four surgeons providing regional service for the management of gastric and oesophageal cancer. Bob Marshall's interests also include upper gastrointestinal endoscopy (gastroscopy, both diagnostic and therapeutic), groin hernia repair (open or keyhole), laparoscopic cholecystectomy for gallstones, anti-reflux surgery, incisional hernia repair (open or keyhole), complex abdominal wall hernias, and management of swallowing difficulties such as achalasia.
