About Mr Richard Slack
Mr Richard Slack completed his undergraduate studies in medicine in 1994. He then undertook his speciality training in Orthopaedic Surgery in the United Kingdom and France. Following this, he was appointed as a Consultant Surgeon in Orthopaedics and Trauma Surgery in East Kent University Hospital Trust. Richard's specialist interest lies in revision (complex) hip and knee replacement surgery and he has performed a very large number of such procedures yearly. His other interests include lower limb joint arthropalsty and biological fixation of implants. His surgery allows rapid rehabilitation of patients undergoing primary hip and knee replacement surgery. Richard lives in Kent with his wife and two children and enjoys playing sports during his spare time.
