Mr Richard Bowman is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon with a special interest in paediatric ophthalmology and neuro-ophthalmology. He is a respected expert in treating all forms of strabismus (squint), including complex cases requiring surgery.
Mr Bowman is also recognised for his expertise in nystagmus, cerebral visual impairment (CVI), and cataracts in children. He is passionate about providing the highest quality care to all his patients.
Mr Bowman studied medicine at Cambridge University and Guy's Hospital Medical School. He completed his ophthalmology training in Cambridge, Glasgow, Moorfields Eye Hospital, and Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). He also undertook an observership at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
