This is a less painful method for the treatment of most grades of haemorrhoids. He also offers treatment for conditions including anal fissure, fistula, groin pain, pelvic floor disorders, rectal bleeding, lipomas, cysts and removal of lumps and bumps.
Mr Codd qualified in 2002, before completing a master's degree in medical education. After completing higher training in general and colorectal surgery, Mr Codd then undertook a fellowship training programme in laparoscopic colorectal surgery in Leeds. This enabled him to develop his expertise in laparoscopic colorectal surgery as well as complex pelvic oncology surgery, complex proctology, and inflammatory bowel disease. He was also awarded an advanced pelvic oncology fellowship in Swansea and a travelling fellowship which was based at the renowned Mayo Clinic in Minnesota.
