Mr Gillespie also managed to find time amidst his training to receive his MSc in Computer Science from the University of Hull in 2006. That same year, he was inducted as a Fellow in the Royal College of Surgeons. Mr Gillespie maintains active membership in a number of professional organizations, including the British Orthopaedic Association (BOA), British Hip Society (BHS), the Orthopaedic Trauma Society (OTS), and British Association for Surgery of the Knee (BASK), as well as the aforementioned orthopaedic Fellowship in the Royal College of Surgeons.
