About Mr Paul Carter
Mr Paul Carter is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in London. He has a specialist interest in colposcopy, vulval conditions and complex benign surgery and oncology. He qualified from St Bartholomew's Hospital, London in 1983 and completed specialist training at St Bartholomew's, Queen Charlotte's, Royal Surrey County and Guy's Hospitals. In 1997 he was appointed as Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist at St George's Hospital, he is currently the Unit Cancer Surgeon and Lead Clinician for Colposcopy & Vulval Disorders. Mr Carter is a Fellow of both The Royal College of Surgeons and The Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists. He also holds membership with the British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSCCP) and The British Gynaecological Cancer Society (BGCS). He has an active interest in the teaching of trainees and has held the position Director of Anatomical Sciences at St George's, University of London since 2014.
