About
Mr. Om Lahoti is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon based at King's College Hospital where he specialises in paediatric and adult lower limb surgery. He also has a special interest in complex deformities, including a wide range of foot and ankle conditions.
He treats patients in a comprehensive and holistic manner and uses techniques such as physiotherapy, non-surgical and surgical management. Where possible, he will use minimally invasive techniques in order to reduce recovery time following surgery.

As a National Fellow in Paediatric Orthopaedics, he received advanced training in children's orthopaedic conditions at the renowned Children's Hospital, Sheffield. At Strathclyde University, he completed a diploma in gait analysis to study lower limb mechanics and the complex relationship between the hip, knee, foot, and ankle. He later received further training in circular frame therapy at Russia's world-renowned Ilizarov Institute in Kurgan, Siberia. In 1998, he became a consultant at the University Hospital Lewisham, and gained fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada in 2003. He then pursued a specialty interest in adult and paediatric lower limb problems at King's College Hospital.
He has a passion for medical education and in 2008, he co-organised the first King's College FRCS (Orth) revision course and the Paediatric Orthopaedic FRCS Orth Revision Course. In 2011, he was appointed as an examiner for the Intercollegiate Board Examination in Orthopaedics.
He is also involved in orthopaedic clinical research and has given numerous presentations on his findings. In addition, he has more than 20 publications and many case reports published in peer-reviewed journals. He is also a reviewer for orthopaedic journals.
Mr Lahoti has written several chapters for orthopaedic textbooks and monograms.
