John qualified from Teesside University in 2013. He has worked in
both NHS and private sector of the north east England. His NHS rotations
consisted of orthopaedics and MSK outpatients where he became a senior
MSK physiotherapist. His work in the NHS has included working alongside
some of the north easts best orthopaedic consultants, providing pre and
post op rehab for shoulder and knee surgery. John has worked with
amateur rugby union clubs throughout the north east region provided.


Clinically, John has a keen interest the assessment, diagnosis and
treatment of upper limb injuries. John has also attended many
postgraduate courses on the shoulder and its rehabilitation. He also
works closely with some of the leading shoulder consultants in London.
As a runner, he is also very experienced in the treatment and diagnosis
of running related injuries. His experience in marathon running helps
him relate to his patients experiences in the preparation and execution
of training. He also utilises running analysis within the clinic to help
diagnose and treat any running issues. John is also experienced in
treating and rehabilitation all body parts. His approach is one of
looking at the person as a whole and creating an individualised
programme for a client's return to injury and pain free status.


John has post graduate training in acupuncture and dry needling which
he utilises along with other physiotherapy techniques. He also has a
Sports massage ITEC diploma. Outside of work, John is a keen runner and
is currently in training for the Athens marathon. He also enjoys long
distance cycling.
