Marcus specialises in knee and shoulder surgery, performing over 150 joint replacements each year. He is highly experienced in minimally invasive keyhole technique and has treated many patients successfully for knee and shoulder problems, ranging from rotator cuff shoulder muscle repairs to knee ligament replacement. Marcus also has a special academic interest, publishing research regularly and collaborates with corresponding leading international units in the USA. He lectures at the University of Birmingham, where he is sub dean for orthopaedic undergraduate teaching, and teaching GPs and orthopaedic trainees at postgraduate level.
Outside the hospital, Marcus enjoys flying hot air balloons and represented Great Britain in the international world championships. Mr Green is a favourite amongst private patients and comes highly recommended.
