About Mr Kourosh Khosraviani
Mr. Kourosh Khosraviani is a highly experienced colorectal and general surgeon, specialising in pelvic floor surgery and laparoscopic colorectal surgery in Northern Ireland. He graduated from Queen’s University Belfast and completed his surgical training in the Northern Ireland deanery, followed by prestigious fellowships at St Mark’s Hospital in London and Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, Canada. Mr. Khosraviani’s expertise includes general surgery, colorectal disorders, laparoscopic colorectal surgery, bowel cancer screening, hernia surgery, and the management of all general surgical conditions, with a specialist focus on colorectal and pelvic floor disorders. He has developed the regional service for pelvic floor disorders and has extensive experience in advanced endoscopy, including colonoscopy. Working alongside public health teams, he played a key role in establishing the regional bowel cancer screening programme. In addition to his clinical work, Mr. Khosraviani is deeply involved in postgraduate surgical training. He serves as an Associate Postgraduate Dean at the Northern Ireland Medical and Dental Training Agency (NIMDTA), supporting the development and education of the next generation of surgeons.
