Mr. Wazait is an esteemed Senior
Consultant Urological Surgeon and Clinical Lead at The Hillingdon Hospital NHS
Foundation Trust. He is a highly experienced consultant and an expert in Green
Light LASER Vaporisation of the Prostate and surgical management of urinary/
kidney stones. Mr Wazait is possibly the only consultant that offers green
light LASER of the prostate privately in Northwest London.
As a sub-specialist in surgical
and medical management of stones (done hundreds of ureteroscopies and LASER for
urinary stones) and LASER of the prostate. He has wide experience in urological
cancer diagnosis and management including prostate and bladder cancer. He does Trans-perineal
fusion prostate biopsy. He leads weekly cancer Multidisciplinary Team and Gyaeno
urology meetings. He also has extensive expertise in the management of
interstitial cystitis, urinary tract infections and general urology.
Mr. Wazait also attends to
paediatric patients, although his primary focus lies in the intricate aspects
of adult urology. He conducts minimally invasive stone surgeries and LASER
Prostatectomies and Rezum (Hot water Vapor of the prostate) offering them as
both day surgeries and overnight stays.
Having completed his specialist
training within the North London Hospitals network, Mr. Wazait pursued his
clinical research at The Royal College of Surgeons of England and Whittington
Hospital. His final year of training took place at the renowned Stone Unit at
St. Bartholomew's and the Royal London Hospitals; a unit distinguished as a
Fellowship centre and a Centre of Excellence by the European Board of Urology.
Mr. Wazait has been a full-time
consultant since 2011 dedicating himself entirely to the direct clinical care
of patients without other distractions. He relocated to London in 2017 after
working as a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Addenbrooke and Hinchingbrooke
Hospitals in Cambridgeshire and Lister Hospital in Stevenage.
He has published in
peer-reviewed journals, presented nationally and internationally on different
urological topics, and has taught at various national courses, training many
urologists in training. Currently, he lectures at Brunel University London.
Recognised for his excellence,
Mr. Wazait has recently been awarded the Doctify Excellence Badge, given to top
clinicians (Top 10%) for their dedication to providing outstanding patient
care. He has also been awarded the title of Faculty Tutor at the Institute of
