In 2018, Mr. Herbert was recognised for his efforts in setting up the macular degeneration service in Taunton and was awarded the national Clinical Service Excellence Award by the Macular Society. His clinical expertise extends to providing injections for macular degeneration and performing retinal laser treatments.
