About Mr Anil Banerjee
Anil Banerjee has over eleven years experience as an ENT Consultant in one of the largest university teaching hospitals in the United Kingdom. He has a national and international reputation and lectures widely both in the UK and abroad on a variety of ENT subjects including imbalance and cosmetic nasal surgery. Mr Banerjee graduated from Newcastle Upon Tyne University in 1987, he then went on to complete further training in the Midlands and Australia. In 1997 he was awarded the prestigious Royal Brisbane Infirmary Otolaryngology Fellowship and spent a year there enhancing his otological and rhinological skills in particular. In 1999 he then went on to be appointed to the post of ENT Consultant at the University Hospitals of Leicester and in 2003 was appointed as Clinical Director for Head and Neck Surgical Services in the same Hospitals. He is an experienced rhinoplasty surgeon and has taught techniques of rhinoplasty for over eleven years. He is a member of the ENT UK Facial Plastics Group and The European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery. Mr Banerjee is one of only 6 UK ENT Consultants invited to lecture on the First World Virtual Otology Conference which took place in March 2009. As well as editing a national ENT journal and publishing over 70 research and clinical papers, Mr Banerjee has appeared in various magazines including ‘Chris Steele at Home'. He has advised the BBC regarding the clinical management of patients.
