Mr Hacker completed his undergraduate training at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne. He undertook specialist orthopaedic training on the South West Thames rotation and quickly became interested in hand and wrist surgery. Mr Hacker has lots of experience in hand and wrist surgery from hospitals across South West London where he worked alongside orthopaedic and plastic hand surgeons. Mr Hacker also trained abroad. He completed a fellowship in hand and microsurgery at the Royal Northshore Hospital in Sydney, Australia.
Andy is a keen sportsman enjoying rugby, skiing and country sports. He has a passion for cooking and photography and sings regularly in a barbershop choir and quartet, competing to a national level.
