About Mr Adam Pandit

Mr Adam Pandit – Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, Shoulder & Elbow Specialist Adam Pandit is a highly experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising exclusively in shoulder, elbow and upper limb surgery. He has been a substantive consultant with Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust since 2011, where he provides specialist elective and trauma care for patients with complex upper limb conditions. In addition to his NHS practice, he consults privately at Spire Thames Valley Hospital and The Princess Margaret Hospital. Mr Pandit graduated from St Bartholomew’s Hospital Medical School in 1998 before undertaking comprehensive postgraduate orthopaedic training in London. Following completion of his membership examinations, he worked as a trauma fellow at Royal London Hospital, one of the UK’s major trauma centres, gaining extensive experience in complex musculoskeletal trauma. He subsequently completed higher specialist training on the prestigious Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital rotation, where he developed a particular passion for upper limb reconstruction and shoulder surgery. After successfully obtaining his FRCS (Trauma & Orthopaedics), Mr Pandit pursued advanced fellowship training in shoulder and elbow surgery at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, an internationally recognised centre for upper limb surgery. This advanced fellowship provided specialist expertise in both arthroscopic and open reconstructive techniques, including complex shoulder instability, rotator cuff pathology, arthroplasty and revision surgery. Mr Pandit’s clinical practice focuses exclusively on disorders of the shoulder, elbow and upper limb. He routinely treats patients with rotator cuff tears, shoulder impingement, frozen shoulder, instability, arthritis, sports injuries, tendon disorders, nerve compression syndromes and upper limb fractures. His surgical practice includes keyhole shoulder and elbow surgery, rotator cuff repair, stabilisation procedures, shoulder replacement surgery, elbow arthroscopy, nerve decompression procedures and fracture fixation. He combines evidence-based medicine with an individualised approach, ensuring that every patient receives a clear diagnosis, an honest discussion of treatment options, and a management plan tailored to their lifestyle, goals and functional requirements. Mr Pandit maintains an active arthroplasty practice and contributes data to the National Joint Registry, where publicly available data demonstrates sustained shoulder replacement activity and outcomes benchmarked against national standards. Patient experience remains central to his practice. According to independently published data from the Private Healthcare Information Network, 97% of patients surveyed stated they would recommend Mr Pandit to friends or family, reflecting his commitment to clinical excellence, communication and continuity of care. Mr Pandit is a member of the British Elbow and Shoulder Society, the British Orthopaedic Association and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and is fully registered with the General Medical Council (GMC 4535490). His specialist interests include: • Arthroscopic rotator cuff repair • Complex shoulder instability • Frozen shoulder management • Shoulder replacement and revision surgery • Elbow arthroscopy and reconstruction • Peripheral nerve compression • Upper limb trauma and fracture reconstruction Mr Pandit is committed to delivering technically excellent surgery alongside compassionate, patient-centred care, helping patients return to work, sport and everyday activities with confidence.

"Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions."
