Dr Mona Ghadiri-Sani is a highly-regarded consultant neurologist with expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of headache disorders such as migraine, cluster headache, and idiopathic intracranial hypertension. Additionally, she has experience in the management of neurological conditions like epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, and neuro-Behçet's disease. Dr Ghadiri-Sani currently practises at The Sefton Suite and The Walton Centre in Liverpool.
After completing her medical degree and an intercalated BSc in Neuroscience at Queen Mary University of London, Dr Ghadiri-Sani trained in neurology at The Royal London Hospital and The Walton Centre. In 2017, she was appointed as a consultant neurologist and became the clinical and educational headache lead. She also coordinates two weekly refractory headache clinics and is the primary investigator for various headache clinical trials.
Dr Ghadiri-Sani provides neurology cover for the national Behçet's Disease Centre at University Hospital Aintree and is an honorary clinical senior lecturer at the University of Liverpool. She is passionate about medical education and has organised education programmes for neurology trainees, GPs, and acute medical doctors at local, regional, and national levels. Her dedication and expertise make her a trusted and respected member of the medical community.
