With a particular interest in complex balance disorders, he has played an instrumental role in establishing innovative models of care, including a multi-disciplinary balance clinic. Dr. Salam is committed to providing a personalised and compassionate approach to patient care, taking the time to understand individual needs and concerns, and developing tailored treatment plans accordingly.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Salam is a founding member of the Ear Care Academy, where he is dedicated to training and mentoring other audiologists to maintain the highest standards of care across the profession. His areas of speciality include hearing assessments for children and adults, hearing loss prevention and noise protection devices, hearing aid prescriptions, tinnitus assessment and management, ear care and wax microsuction, as well as the assessment and management of balance and dizziness disorders.
