Miss Sarah Fawcett

Sarah Fawcett is a BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist based in North East London and Westminster. Sarah works as part of the team at Terapia Consultancy, an independent group of psychologists, therapists and counsellors in the City of London. The ethos of Terapia is to use therapy and psychological therapies to help individuals, couples, families and groups with overcoming difficult situations and various challenges in life through their expertise and guidance. Sarah uses cognitive behaviour therapy, or CBT, to help people identify the unhelpful behaviours and thoughts that maintain the problem and prevent them from moving forward. Her therapy is a collaborative and transparent process in which she works with the client to help them find the answers to their problem. Her belief is that by the end of treatment a person should be equipped with the skills to act as their own therapist and manage whatever setbacks they encounter. During her career as a therapist, Sarah has helped thousands of people to manage the symptoms of depression and anxiety using techniques from CBT. She says ‘'I am extremely passionate about my work and believe that nobody should struggle with these problems alone.''
