Miss Hanna qualified in 1976, and trained at King's College and Hammersmith Hospitals, London. She was a nominated finalist for the IHA award medical practice. She served as Chairman of the Medical Advisory Committees at both Chelsfield Park and the Sloane Hospitals.
Miss Hanna has conducted her research in reproductive surgery and medicine in addition to assisted conception techniques at the Institute of Gynaecology and Obstetrics, Imperial College, Hammersmith Hospital London. She continues to teach and train younger colleagues in the speciality, having been both Chairman of Education South East and South West London Deaneries and Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Regional Adviser. Miss Hanna is involved in developing safer effective instruments for minimally invasive gynaecological surgery.
Miss Hanna works also in Private Healthcare for over 30 years and offers the full range of women health services including management of heavy painful and irregular periods, PCO, fibroids, endometriosis, assisted conception, uterine and vaginal wall prolapse, urinary incontinence, abnormal cervical smears and the menopause/hormone replacement therapy.
