About Miss Anna Hazlewood
Miss Hazlewood is a qualified and registered counsellor and provides home visits and walk and talk sessions. She is trained in the humanistic approach which is also known as person-centred therapy. This approach to counselling gives clients control of the sessions and freedom to explore their issues within a safe environment, consequently helping them to reconnect with their inner values and sense of self-worth permitting them to find their own way to move forward. In this approach the counsellor works to understand an individual's experience from their point of view. Miss Hazlewood is very professional, non-judgemental and offers confidential service. She cares about her clients and believes that everyone has the ability to find the answers to their questions by exploring their issues and with the right help to be able to talk them over and think clearer. Her experience covers depression, anxiety, death and bereavement, loneliness, health issues, abuse, immigration and domestic violence. In addition, she is also actively implicated in causes like animal welfare, children, education, human rights and social services.
