Dr. Leveson then undertook further training at the Halliwick Unit, where she gained knowledge and expertise in mentalisation based therapy and the treatment and management of personality disorders. She has undertaken training at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust, as well as the Helen Bamber Foundation Charity. Since her Consultant appointment, Dr. Leveson has worked in the diagnosis and management of acute presentations of mental illness of inpatients and in the liaison service, looking after the mental health needs of patients in the general hospital admitted with medical and surgical conditions.
Dr Leveson is experienced in the diagnoses and management of adult ADHD. She has worked in her Trust's adult ADHD and autism assessment services. She is also able to use repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation to manage treatment resistant depression.
Alongside her clinical roles, Dr Leveson is also the academic and educational lead for psychiatric core trainees. She is also undertaking her Masters Degree in Mental Health Research at University College London.
