Throughout his career, Dr Cruz has managed a broad range of infectious diseases and has led infection prevention and control initiatives, including the development of sepsis protocols and clinical training programmes for healthcare professionals. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he directed infection prevention strategies for major organisations across Europe.
His clinical interests include HIV management, HPV-related disease, sexual health and preventative medicine, with a strong focus on early diagnosis and evidence-based patient care. Dr Cruz is committed to improving access to specialist services and supporting patients through clear communication, education and personalised treatment planning.
