Dr. Michel de Wildt is an experienced Consultant Urologist with nearly 25 years of expertise in minimally invasive endo-urological procedures. Prior to relocating to Ireland, he worked at Catharina Hospital in Eindhoven, Netherlands, where he specialised in minimal invasive treatment for benign prostate enlargement (BPH), stone treatments and pediatric urology. In 2014, Dr. De Wildt was the first in the Netherlands to introduce a novel approach for the treatment of benign prostatic enlargement the Holmium Laser Enucleation of The Prostate or HoLEP.
To date, he has performed over 500 successful HoLEP procedures. Since then.his innovative and effective treatments have made him a respected figure in the field of urology.
Dr. de Wildt’s specialties include Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate (HoLEP), benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), and stone disease. He is a member of several esteemed organisations, including the Irish Society of Urology, the Dutch Association of Urology, the European Association of Urology, and the Society of Endourology.
