She studied medicine at the prestigious Ludwig-Maximilian University of Munich and Cornell University, New York, before completing her specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Munich and Athens. Driven by a passion for understanding hormonal changes across a woman’s life, she went on to earn a Master of Science in Gynaecologic Endocrinology from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
With over 20 years of clinical experience, Dr Maria has conducted thousands of deliveries and developed deep expertise in supporting women through the challenges of childbirth, aging, and menopause. She is widely known for her innovative treatments, including her renowned vaginismus therapy, V Facials, and her signature Intimate Makeover surgery.
Previously Medical Director of Aesthetics at King’s College Hospital London in Dubai, she has built a strong reputation across the Middle East for her holistic, patient-focused approach. She founded Gýneco in 2024, with the aim to exclusively provide aesthetic and functional gynaecology, where she continues her mission to provide personalised, comprehensive, and transformative care for women at every stage of life.
