Dr. rer. biol. hum. Mareike Reinsch absolvierte ihr Studium der Psychologie an der Technischen Universität Braunschweig und schloss dieses 2007 als Diplompsychologin ab. Im Jahr 2005 absolvierte sie zudem eine Ausbildung zur Rettungssanitäterin. Ihr Studium der Humanmedizin absolvierte sie von 2007 bis 2013 an der Medizinischen Hochschule Hannover.
Von 2008 bis 2012 war Dr. Reinsch wissenschaftlich am Institut für Medizinische Psychologie an der MHH tätig und wirkte in Forschung und Lehre mit. Im Jahr 2011 promovierte sie zum Thema "Machen Freunde das Leben leichter? Eine Analyse des KORA-Surveys-F3 zu sozialen Beziehungen, Übergewicht und gesundheitsbezogener Lebensqualität". Ihre Approbation als Ärztin erhielt sie im Jahr 2013.
Im Anschluss an ihr Studium war Dr. Reinsch von 2014 bis 2015 als Weiterbildungsassistentin im Gebiet Diagnostische Radiologie tätig. Seit 2015 setzt sie ihre Weiterbildung im Gebiet Nuklearmedizin fort.
