Dr Kalla undertook advanced subspecialty training in Electrophysiology and Device Therapy in Oxford and further refined his expertise in complex catheter ablation at the world-renowned Royal Melbourne Hospital under Professor Jon Kalman.
Appointed as a Consultant in 2018, Dr Kalla provides specialist care in catheter ablation of atrial and ventricular arrhythmias, device implantation, and management of inherited cardiac conditions. His research continues to focus on atrial fibrillation mechanisms, atrial imaging, and ventricular tachycardia treatment.
