Dr Jasinarachchi is passionate about research and has previously spent time researching stroke and nerve disorders at St Vincent Hospital. She is also involved in teaching medical students and advanced trainees in the field of neurology.
Dr Jasinarachchi graduated with her MBBS from the University of Colombo in 2005. She continued with her advanced neurology training in hospitals in Australia before receiving a fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. She then spent time gaining expertise in clinical neurophysiology and neuromuscular disorders and learned valuable skills in autonomic nerve fibre testing, EMG, and tilt table testing. She is also competent in sudomotor testing as well as electroencephalography.
