About
Lyn holds a BA (Hons) in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Strathclyde, awarded in 1994, providing her with a strong academic foundation in human behaviour and social dynamics. She further advanced her clinical expertise by completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy at the University of Napier in 2022.
As an accredited member of the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP), Lyn adheres to high professional and ethical standards in her practice. She integrates evidence-based approaches, combining CBT techniques with EMDR therapy to help clients process distressing experiences, develop coping strategies, and achieve meaningful psychological change.
With a compassionate and client-centred approach, Lyn is dedicated to creating a safe, supportive environment where individuals can explore their difficulties and work towards improved mental wellbeing.
