Dr Lucy McGregor
Psychology
About
She is able to treat a range of problems including depression, family conflict, OCD, phobias, stress, trauma and PTSD. Her extensive experience in clinical and research settings across a variety of healthcare organisations equips her with the knowledge, skills and passion necessary to support the emotional and neurodevelopmental needs of children and young people from diverse backgrounds. She believes that the voices of children, young people, and families should be central to all psychological approaches, and therefore takes time to set up sessions that are collaborative and responsive to an individual's unique needs.
Dr McGregor's therapeutic practice uses integrative approaches informed by different evidence-based models in order to meet the dynamic needs of individual children, young people, and families. Her collaborative approaches always involve taking the time to listen to what clients need before planning together how to best move forward to achieve lasting changes.
Dr. McGregor has extensive training in her field, including a Professional Doctorate (DClinPsych), making her highly qualified within her field.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
