She completed her training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2016, achieving her CCT. She then spent 18 months working extensively in the Early Pregnancy and Gynaecology scanning unit at King's College Hospital, gaining invaluable experience in gynaecological ultrasonography and management of early pregnancy. She is registered as a specialist with the General Medical Council (GMC).

With a strong belief in evidence-based medicine, she has been an active researcher in the field and has published papers in peer-reviewed journals. Dr Farahani is a member of the British Fertility Society and has presented her work at conferences.
